This pizza cupcake recipe is tasty and easy to make. It’s almost like having a fancier version of bagel bites.
I can’t remember how I learned about this idea, but at some point I put it on my list of things to make and man am I glad I did. You could have this as a snack, lunch or dinner.

Let’s Get Started with this pizza cupcake recipe
First, grab your muffin tin and an 8-ounce tube of crescent roll dough.
Measure 28 grams of dough for each muffin cup.
Press each one into the muffin tin so it lines the walls of the cup. The dough may slide down the sides slowly so just keep an eye on that and press it up again if that happens. This pizza cupcake recipe depends on it!
After the muffin tin is completely lined with dough, grab a cutting board, knife, and your pepperoni.
Cut up 3 slices of pepperoni for each muffin cup. It may not seem like a lot, but this will be more than enough.
Following that, grab the sauce for this part of the pizza cupcake recipe.
You’ll also need measuring spoons. Put 1 tbsp of the pizza sauce into each muffin cup. Trust me, this will be more than enough.
Grab a fork for this next part of the pizza cupcake recipe and mix the sauce and pepperoni around in the muffin cup. This will give you the most accurate calorie count per-muffin cup. I jumped the gun in this picture and added the mozzarella to one cup a little too early. Just ignore that.
Next, grab the cheese
Measure out about 10 or 11 grams of cheese per muffin cup.
Again, it won’t seem like enough but it’s definitely enough for this pizza cupcake recipe. Once your cheese is all on there and ready to go, preheat your oven to 375 degrees and bake this for 15-16 minutes.
Once they’re done, THEY WILL BE HOT! Like burn-your-mouth-off hot. So, you need to let them cool for a minimum of five minutes before eating. Frankly, you still probably shouldn’t but into one after 5 minutes.
I gave them five minutes to cool off then I ate them with a fork. Alright, to be honest I did bite into one and burned my mouth pretty bad. It wasn’t McDonald’s coffee burn bad, but it was definitely up there.
